Simply put, Laze is a hybrid brand that is a campaigning brand as well as a platform that aims to bring to light the various issues that lie beneath society. They do not want to be silent spectators, but rather be loud and bold, airing it out for the world to see. The purpose of this brand is to expose the ingrained problems that are silently eating away at the edges of our society. For its first campaign ‘Unveiling AI’s Gendered Cards’, they are illuminating the most seemingly-normal aspects of society's mindset - the gender bias in AI. They do this by showing the different disadvantages women have to deal with and the prejudices they face, especially in AI which is powered by biased datasets. The campaign aims to provoke thought, conversation, and awareness of the prejudices we frequently ignore and is taking steps to mitigate biases in its own small ways.
